Emerson Creek Pottery Review and Giveaway! -- CLOSED

Hey everyone! So my next review and giveaway is for Emerson Creek Pottery. Emerson Creek Pottery is a great pottery company that are handcrafted, lead-free, ceramics made in America. They have a variety of styles in a variety of items. From mugs to pie plates, with wisteria or shamrocks. Everything is really, really beautiful.

I was sent the Dragonfly Chili Bowl.



I actually gave this to my mom as a little gift for her birthday. She's been looking for bowls and she is a big fan of dragonflies so I knew she would like it. She did indeed.

It's a lovely bowl, it's actually quite hard to find a nice bowl that's deep but not too large. Although this is a chili bowl it's a perfect cereal, stew, or oatmeal bowl as well. It's made very well, too, very sturdy and the painting is very lovely.

The property on which Emerson Creek Pottery sits was originally a 500-acre land grant from the King of England. Our pottery is formed of clay made onsite. Each piece is hand made, hand painted and fired in a gas kiln. Each pattern is a series of carefully planned strokes. No templates or stencils are used. The patterns are practiced and committed to memory. The artists paint the pattern again and again. Each piece is alike and yet different, like flowers in a field. We are currently featuring 15 different lines of ceramic pottery, including our beloved signature line - Field of Iris, a classic since 1977. All of our work is microwave and dishwasher safe, lead free and ovenproof."

Overall, they have such a lovely collection of pieces and such variety. There is something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a lovely gift for someone or just want something for yourself. They have dinnerware, bakeware, even bathroom accessories.
