Naturally Savvy's Unjunk Your Junk Food Book Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for Naturally Savvy and their book "Unjunk Your Junk Food." This book creates or at least shows the reader better options for those that have a sweet tooth (like me!). It is very similar to the "Eat This, Not That!" books in that it compares two of the similar foods and tells you which one to eat and why but this one focuses on junk foods like chocolate, cookies, and more.

I really liked this book because it is super informative and a great guide to eating. They even have a "Bad Ingredient List" which you can cut out and carry around with you as a guide.

I like how in the beginning of the book they give you a breakdown of the ingredients and just overall what is what. Like for instance, what is fiber and why it is good for you and all the different types of fat like the good and bad ones. The book breaks down the junk food into groups like cookies, chocolate, ice cream, chips, etc. It compares the popular ones like snickers and m&ms to the healthy alternatives and why you should pick the healthy alternatives. Sure there some questionable ones like instead of the Jet Puffed Marshmellow Spread the suggest the Ricemellow spread whic his made of rice. Sounds weird...but you know when you want to start eating healthy you have to commit man. While you still can indulge in some sweets if you want to start moving to the healthy way you can't engorge on your snickers anymore man, it won't help you. Let's be honest, too, some of the healthy alternatives, in fact most that I have tried, taste pretty awesome. I recently just tried this Coconut Milk Plain Yogurt that is dairy free and it tastes so good. So don't knock it 'til you try it, that is my motto.

So overall, I really did enjoy this book. It is a wonderful tool to slowly ween yourself off sweets, if not get rid of them at least eat the healthier versions and know what you are eating. This book definitely tells you what is what and I really, really liked it. Definitely check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Buy It! Head on over to Amazon.com and purchase a copy for yourself!
