Foods Alive Review!

Hey everyone! Recently I started a job working at home so I am a bit worried about getting lazy and not keeping active. I try to go running during my lunch at least every other day. I've been trying to avoid or at least eat less carbs. I've also been eating a lot of smoothies, that's why I was very excited to try Foods Alive. Foods Alive is a great company that has a variety of great healthy food. I was super excited to try their great superfoods.

I received their:
Hemp Protein Powder
Raw Goji Berries
Raw Cacao Powder
+ Some chocolate buttons and a chapstick thrown in!

I love superfoods just because you can easily add them to your breakfast or smoothies to make them a  little healthier for you. I go to this restaurant that has goji berries in their salads and I was very excited to just have the bag to much on but to add it to everything, too. This morning I had greek yogurt, strawberries, hemp seeds, honey, and goji berries and it was pretty delicious.

Goji Berries contain 18 amino acids, 500 times the amount of vitamin C than in oranges, and are jam packed with trace minerals like zinc, copper, etc. They also reduce cancer benefits and honestly taste really great even if you just want a little snack.

The Hemp Protein Powder I just wanted because I wanted a protein powder. Organic Hemp Protein is recognized as a complete/balanced vegetarian source of Amino Acids, EFA's, natural anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and chlorophyll. It's great to just add to smoothies, that's how I usually rock it.

The smoothie above I also made today, I'm running out of food so it had kale, broccoli, pineapple juice, lemon juice, hemp protein powder, cacao powder, goji berries, and some pumpkin cheesecake Ben and Jerry's ice cream -- I know weird combo but it tasted really great. I am actually going to the store right after I write up this post so I can get more food for more smoothies though hahaha.

Lastly, the cacao powder. I did also get this primarily for smoothies. Cacao is one of those rare powdery substances that you put in smoothies that actually make the smoothie taste good (I'd say protein powder does not haha) and it healthy for you. It is a treasure of vitamins, minerals, beta-carotene, zinc, chromium and magnesium, raw chocolate is a delight for the senses and food for the mind.

Overall, I really enjoyed these products and have been using them quite a bit. I definitely recommend browsing the website though because they have some other great, delicious, and healthy food, too!

Buy It! Head on over to Foods Alive's website and browse their awesome selection!
