Holiday Gift Guide: Greenleaf Gifts Review and Giveaway! -- CLOSED

73 comments:

Hey everyone! So my next review and giveaway is for Greenleaf Gifts. Greenleaf Gifts is a great website that sells all sorts of fragrancey gifts. From candles to bath and body lotions to potpurri. I received a great selection of their beautifully scented home frangrance items.

The items I received are:
Gathering scented Holiday Candle
Merry Memories scented Holiday Gift Box
Wintercream scented Room Spray
Silver Spruce scented Small Sachet

I'm just going to flat out say this, I don't think my house will ever smell bad again. Not that it ever has! I'm just saying, you know maybe the bathroom...obviously...or sometimes the cat farts in my room and his farts are SBDs, the worst kind and now all I have to do is spray or light up a candle to get rid of those unwanted smells. Thanks to of all these amazingly smelled items. They're all soooo good. I requested the first two, but they were super nice and surprised me with the room spray and the sachet.

Let's talk about those two first. I didn't request those two mainly because I never really used them before. The last room spray I owned was from Limited Too back when I was like 9 and I still have it, so that shows how much I've used it, haha. But this spray is different, the room spray from Limited Too is too sweet, basically it's just like if you spray body spray in your room. But this Wintercream is a very, very lovely smell. As the website says, it's a "soft and lovely blend of creamy vanilla and sensual amber and musk." And it just smells so clean and fresh, I love it.

The sachet is Silver Spruce and you would never think a little bag like this would have just a powerful smell. But I actually had this in my room too just to keep it there for now but the fragrance was pretty strong for my little room and mixed weird with the wintercream room spray, so now we keep it in the hallway. It's really lovely, seriously forget those glade air fresheners, save some money, but a sachet and do that up. I haven't even taken the plastic wrapping off around it because it smells strong enough as it is. This is a great little mini gift to put in a gift bag with another big gift, just to spice the bag up a bit. People love beautifully smelled things and these sachets at only $1.30 are totally worth it!

Next is the Merry Memories Potpourri Box. I thought this was so cute when I saw it, I've seen potpourri before but not displayed like this. I love how it has the essentials of Christmas all in one box, even a Gingerbread Man! I love the smell too, as the website says, Merry Memories is "A merry mix of cinnamon, vanilla, and clove, blended with delightful green sugared pear". It's a really lovely mixture, but even though it is in a cute little box, you have to take the potpourri out to experience its smell. What's great though is that the box makes a great little gift, just put it in a gift bag and it's all set.

Lastly, is the Holiday Candle's Gathering scent. Not gonna lie, I specifically requested this one because on the website they say the Gathering is: "is a welcoming warm vanilla with spicy clove and cassia oil, blended with sweet pumpkin and sprinkled with ginger nutmeg, carrot seed and cardamom" Did you read that? Pumpkin!!! I had to have it. And let me just say it definitely did not disappoint. It smells so delicious and I don't care if autumn is almost over and everyone is getting into their peppermints and gingerbreads...pumpkin's scent will never end for me until it completely disappears from the stores and everwhere else. I looove pumpkin and I will never be sick of it's smell. Plus this mixture of pumpkin all the lovely other autumnal scents like nutmeg and carrot seed is just fantastic. The whole style of the candle is fantastic too. I love the case the candle is in, the lid, and the tassle, it's so fancy and classy! You can tell this isn't a cheap candle in a little glass, they really want you to like this candle not just because you love the smell of it but you want to display it as well.

Overall, I absolutely love Greenleaf Gifts. It's a great website for people who love great smelling items. Christmas is coming sooner than you think and everyone loves candles and room sprays, also check out their body collection too! They all make great gifts. Definitely check it out, because trust me, you won't be disappointed!
