WatchMinder Review and Giveaway!

I'm a pretty busy person. I work pretty much two and a half jobs plus this blog and try to write and perform stand up in between. So some of the things I am supposed to do I forget to do them or just barely remember to. So when I found out about WatchMinder I was pretty excited to check it out.
WatchMinder was actually invented by a child psychologist because some children have AD/HD and need to be managed and reminded to do stuff. Also, kids in general as well as pretty much anyone need to be reminded to do this. It works great for medication reminders, behavior modification and self-monitoring, and just everyday life and wellness things like exercise and food shopping.
It is a nice sized digital watch which I love because that is what I normally wear. I am lazy and don't like to take the time to figure out the time when it can just tell me digitally. So that already was a win for me but the key features are pretty excellent, too.
Some of the key features include:
- Perfect for all wrist sizes
- Has two optional Velcro bands, one is red which I think is great for kids
- Has a rechargeable battery and charger included
- Easy on-screen programming
- 65 pre-programmed messages to choose from
- Vibrating alert with "snooze repeat" feature
- Waterproof
I really did like this watch because it is incredibly handy and works very well. I am the type of person that tries to set up things before reading the manual which sometimes can be a bad thing but in this situation was not. I didn't really look at the manual til after setting it up which just proves how easy the watch is to use and configure. When reading the manual after I discovered you can also darken or lighten the watch to make it clearer to see. You can also create 12 original reminders but has pre-programmed ones already. For instance there's the reminders like "Bank/Bills," "Go meeting," and "Exercise." Then there are the training ones which you can cue randomly throughout the say too like "Smile," "Breathe," and "Posture." You can set up to 30 reminders a day. In addition, these reminders can vibrate and have the light blink when it is time. You can also set the length of time you want the reminders to vibrate and blink for.
I also thought it was great that the battery is rechargeable. They recommend charging it at least once a month for a few hours so the battery doesn't die.
Overall, I felt this watch is a really great tool. It's great for kids, elderly, and everyone in between. I used it to remind myself to do my taxed and mail stuff that I kept forgetting to. I plan on wearing this one from now on, too. Definitely check it out, whether you need a new watch or need some reminders this watch is awesome.
