Larabar's ALT Bars Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for LÄRABAR! You may remember I have done some reviews for them in the past and you can check them out here. LÄRABAR recently came out with a new line of bars called ALT bars and I was lucky enough to review them this time!



The Flavors Included:
Lemon Pound Cake
Peanut Butter Cookie
Cinnamon Apple Crisp
Pumpkin Pie

As their website says: "ALT®, the Alternative Protein Bar™, is the first-ever bar with added protein from LÄRABAR! Many bar brands use soy or whey protein, but ALT uses an alternative protein source: peas. Vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and non-GMO, ALT also uses a wrapper that is 31% renewable."

Honestly, these really don't taste much different from the usual LÄRABAR, texture-wise. It's just a better post-workout snack bar than the typical LÄRABAR because of the added protein. They all contain 10 grams of protein!

A blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices, each LÄRABAR is made from 100% whole food, and no more than 2 to 9 ingredients. Their mission is: "We believe that what you eat is healthiest and most satisfying when it's in a whole, natural state."

The flavors are of ALT are amazing. I am a pumpkin fiend so I was SO PUMPED to try the Pumpkin Pie bar and it tasted so, so delicious. It was my favorite of the flavors just because I am obsessed with pumpkin, the rest were equally delicious too, aside from the Lemon one just because I'm not a huge lemon-flavored fan. I love lemons and lemon juice in water but I don't like lemon baked goods or lemon baked goods flavors. I gave it to my friend though and she was a big fan.

Overall, I think the ALT line may be my favorite line of LÄRABAR just because the Pumpkin, Peanut Butter, and Cinnamon Apple taste so, so delicious. Definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Larabar and Food Should Taste Good's 2012 Holidays Simple Survival Kit Review!

Hi everyone! This is super belated but I received this really awesome 2012 Holidays Simple Survival Kit. I received this from LaraBar and Food Should Taste Good. It contained a bunch of awesome goodies.

This was such an awesome pleasant surprise and all the items are so wonderful. There's yummy snacks that are great all year around like the Larabars, Food Should Taste Good Chips, and Justin's PB Cups but it was cool that they also threw in items that kind of catered toward winter like the SmartWool Socks, the cinnamon Lip Balm, and the tea.

They're all so great and all helpful. The one item I was hesitant about was the cinnamon lip balm just because it sounds odd but ended up probably being my favorite, it smells and feels so smooth. The chocolate chips sounded weird too but they were so, soo good. All of the food items definitely did not last in my house, they were so delicious.

Overall, literally all of the items are great and it was a nice little kit to receive during the holiday season. Definitely check out LaraBar and Food Should Taste Good as well as all of the other products, you won't be disappointed!

LaraBar's Uber Bar Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for LaraBar's new, awesome UBER bar! You guys know I love LaraBar, they're awesome and delicious, definitely one of my favorite go-to bars. You can check out my previous reviews of them here Now they have become even better with their crazy awesome Uber bars!


The Uber flavors are:
Cherry Cobbler
Roasted Nut Roll
Apple Turnover
Bananas Foster

They are packed full of delicious flavor to satisfy your sweet tooth but without the sugar or flour-packed fillings. Whether your in the mood for nutty (Roasted Nut Roll) or sweet (Bananas Foster) they have something for anyone!

They're made with ingredients you can prononce like dried apples and walnuts. No added sugars, except from honey! They're awesome and only 190 calories! LaraBars are fruit and nut bars not because it sounds nice but because that is practically all they are made from fruits and nuts. They're also kosher, gluten free, and contain no GMO's.

Honestly I cannot even tell you which one is my favorite because they are all SO GOOD and hit your every flavor mood. Apple Turnover I think is the most unique because there aren't many bars made from apples nowadays but the rest are so, so great too!

Once again, LaraBar does not disappoint. They are amazing and you guys definitely need to check them out!

LaraBar Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for LaraBar. LaraBar is a great company that has such delicious snack bars. You may remember that a few reviews of them before and you can check them out here.



I was lucky enough to be sent their newest flavor, Cappuccino.

I was kind of worried about this flavor at first because coffee flavored things can go both ways. They can either taste really great or taste super terrible and overly caffeinated. Needless to say I was a bit hesitant to try this flavor. But I went for it and I am glad I did. It is delicious. It's not a super caffeinated flavor, but a great combination of sweet and cappuccino. It tastes, so, so good! It's chewy, delicious, and just makes me love LaraBar even more!

Guess what the ingredients are for this bar: dates, almonds, cashews, coffee, and vanilla extract. That is it! And it is so good!

Some other awesome facts about LaraBar aside from the fact that they're delicious is that they're gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. There's no added sugar. One bar equals 1/4 cup of fruit. They're also a great source of fiber.

Definitely check out LaraBar, even if you don't like coffee flavored things they have a wide variety of crazy awesome flavors. From Ginger Snap to Banana Bread to Peanut Butter and Jelly. They have a flavor for anyone, seriously! They make awesome stocking stuffers!

Larabar's New Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for Larabar, you may remember I reviewed a few yummy bars of them before in the past, you can check that review out here. This time they sent me their latest flavor Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte.

One word: YUM. I love the unique combo of chocolate and cherries, I mean what bar has that dynamic duo? It just tastes so, so good!

A blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices, each LÄRABAR is made from 100% whole food, and no more than 2 to 9 ingredients. Their mission is: "We believe that what you eat is healthiest and most satisfying when it's in a whole, natural state."

As indulgent as the decadently layered cake it emulated, with smooth chocolate chips and tart cherries and it's only made with six ingredients! Chocolate chips, almonds, unsweetened cherries, cashews and sea salt. Yup, that's it! And it's so delicious!

Larabars are definitely one of my favorite to go snacks because they're healthy, made from ingredients I can actually read and understand, and are simply delicious. They're also gluten free, non-gmo, and kosher which are all super pluses in my book!

If you're not a fan of cherries or chocolate no biggie, seriously that have tons and tons of flavors to choose from you will definitely fall in love with at least two of them! The bars are so soft and sweet I don't know any person who doesn't like them, they're too delicious to pass up!

Definitely check out Larabars, especially this new yummy flavor, you won't be disappointed! Definitely a new favorite of mine, cherries don't really get many snacks flavored after them and I love them. If you're a fan of cherries you will absolutely love this bar, too!

These are all so incredibly delicious! They are very moist, soft, and full of flavor. You cal tell that they're natural because you can practically see every ingredient in the bar when you bite into it. At around 100-200 calories per bar, most I noticed were 190, they're a little steep for snacking, but when you know exactly what's going into your body and they're super healthy for you it's worth it. For instance, the chocolate chip cookie dough literally has 4 ingredients: dates, cashews, salt, and chocolate chips. Whaaat? Amazing. They're also a great source of protein (4g in the blueberry muffin bar) and great for special diets. They are Gluten Free, Dairy Free*, Soy Free*, Non-GMO, Vegan*, Kosher.

It's hard to choose a favorite, to be honest, I don't think I can. There's so many different flavors. There's definitely a flavor for everyone.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is a perfect bar to curb your chocolate cravings. Best of all this cookie dough bar contains no butter. The Blueberry Muffin is a delicious mixture of blueberries, cashews and dates with a dash of lemon and vanilla. I'd say it's almost even more delicious than an actual blueberry muffin. The coconut cream pie is a fantastic mix of unsweetened coconut, cashews and almonds provides 6 grams of fiber and a yummy alternative to the original, more decadent delight. Lastly, the banana bread, with its simple, 3-ingredient blend of bananas, dates and almonds, this food provides 6 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and 13% of the recommended daily value of Potassium.

These bars make for great snacks on the go or just snacks in general. They are literally just too incredibly good. Definitely check them out.
