Golden Moon Tea Iced Tea Maker Review!

Hey guys! So my next review and giveaway is for Golden Moon Tea but this time it's for their super cool Iced Tea Maker!

I was so excited to get the chance to review this! To be honest, lately every since I received Golden Moon Tea's Coconut Pouchong Tea I have been on the lookout for iced tea makers. Mainly because their Coconut Pouchong Tea won the first place for Best Iced Green Tea at the 2007 World Tea Expoand I loved it as a regular hot tea so I realllly had to try how much better it was as an iced tea. I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they had only one iced tea maker and it looked kind of sketch. It just seemed kind of complicated to use you had to plug it in and just...I don't know wasn't my thing. It was only $19.99 too so I was worried it might be craptastic so I passed on it and continued my search.

Just when I was about to give up, Golden Moon Tea sends me this lovely piece of machinery (except not machinery really...but you know what I mean) to me in the mail.

Oh. my. God! This pitcher is seriously one of the easiest things I have ever seen! Simple directions, nothing to plug in! It was just so cool! And, and! It's only $14.95 and believe you me it is FAR from craptastic! it is the exact opposite and fantastic! It's just a pitcher, that's it, but it's just so incredibly easy to use! I literally opened the box and tried this out immediately.

Okay, here let me explain how to use it. You put 5 teaspons of your favorite tea into the infuser which is this easy little like container that's in the pitcher but not connected to it. You fill the pitcher with half hot water and let it sit for like 5 minutes to let the tea do it's job. Then you take the diffuser out which is easy because it has a little kind of handle up top, and fill the other half with cold water. Let it settle a bit more, or, if you have no patience and are too excited to try it out, just add some ice cubes into your cup, pour and enjoy! That's it! There was also one way where you can pour just cold water in and let it settle for 12 hours but mannn I hardly could wait 5 minutes let alone 12 hours! Maybe next time I'll try it though with the cold water.

I never realized how easy it is to make iced tea as long as you have the proper equiptment and the proper equiptment is not difficult to use just this wonderful pitcher and diffuser, that's it. That's all it is. It's a very, very sturdy pitcher too made of very hard plastic and the top is connected to it, you just flip it open. It's really modern and super cool.

Though, this might be a downer for some of you. I'm not sure if this iced tea maker works with bags of tea, though it might. I would just put five tea bags in and see what happens. I don't think it would hurt, it just doesn't say on the instructions that it does, but I think it will.

Now, the taste of the tea was delicious! Of course, I had to add in about 3 spoonfuls of sugar, but I do that to all tea in general. I was worried that all the water would make the tea not as strong as it is when it's warm and just a cup. But I think waiting 5 minutes and the 5 teaspoons almost made it stronger than the warm tea. It was delicious! The coconut taste was still there it tasted amazing. Again breaking another record in my book by the coconut pouchong tea also being my favorite iced tea in the whole world. Yeah Coconut Pouchong Tea, you actually beat Snapple Iced Teas in being the best iced tea everrr! At least to me.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't tried this iced tea maker out with any other tea, but I will...soon. I've just been on this kick with the coconut pouchong tea because it's so amazing.

Another win for Golden Moon Tea and their wonderful, wonderful products.

Buy It! Head on over to Golden Moon Tea's website and check out the Iced Tea Maker it is sooo easy to use and only $14.95!
