Stonefire Flatbreads Review and Giveaway!

I haven't really eaten Indian food much at all, it's not that I haven't wanted to, just never really had the chance. Though, I did have it one time when I studied abroad in London. I knew we had to hit up Brick Lane there and that's just what a few of my flat mates and I did. One of the most delicious things I had that night actually was the bread Naan. It was so sweet and so, so good. So when I heard of Stonefire's Naan flatbreads, I had to try them out.

I was able to try out their Garlic Naan.

At the supermarket they had whole wheat and original, too, but the garlic caught my eye. I had no idea there were other types of naan other than the sweet one I had so I was pretty intrigued. It tasted great, not super garlic-y like the usual garlic bread you usually get at Italian restaurants, but just enough. It is also very soft, almost fluffy even though it is thin. It is similar to pita bread but not as rough and easier to pull apart and chew.

Another great thing about Stonefire is that their flatbreads are made using authentic baking methods. They contain no artificial preservatives, additives, artificial colors, trans fat, or hydrogenated oils. So they taste great and are made with great ingredients, too.

The package comes with two flatbreads which are quite big, they're long. It has a great recipe for a feta and mushroom appetizer that I am thinking of trying next week. But, being lazy and trying not to go crazy food shopping (I'm going away this weekend), I just ate most of the first flatbread with hummus. It worked out really well and tasted great. Then again you can't go wrong with bread and yummus (yup, I just said yummus).

They also had the pizza flatbreads complete with sauce, too. I definitely want to try that out. I tried making pizza once and the hardest part was making the crust so having that already made for you makes it that much easier and you can eat the pizza quicker!

Overall, I really loved the Naan, it was really delicious. It also sparked that urge in my to try more Indian food, so be wary it may do that to you, too. Definitely check them out though, you won't be disappointed!
