Picture Keeper Review and Giveaway!

One label I do get especially when I'm on vacation is "photo whore." I take an insane amount of photos, sometimes my friends and family get sick of me doing it. Better more than less is what I always say! That's why Picture Keeper is perfect for me!

Picture Keeper is if a flash drive and a portable hard drive had a baby but solely for photos. It looks almost just like a flash drive but once you connect it it acts like a portable hard drive. It had this whole program where you back up your photos. It is really easy to use and you never realize how many photos you have until you use this thing. I have so many that they all couldn't fit on one Picture Keeper.

This is a great and easy system for people like me that take tons of photos. You can backup the photos onto the Picture Keeper so you can remove them from your computer so they don't take up all of the space.

The Picture Keeper has 4 models to choose from. I received the PK4 which can hold anywhere between 1,000 to 4,000 pictures depending on the photo size and it's only $29.99. It held about 2,500 photos of mine. I take many of my photos with my Nikon D60 which are clearer and probably bigger photos than usual. The other options are the PK8 which can hold up to 8,000 photos for $59.99, the PK 16 which can hold up to 16,000 photos for $99.99, and lastly the PK Pro which can hold up to 250,000 for $189.99.

One thing I had trouble with was being able to select what photos could be saved and which I didn't want. You select, your "Pictures" folder but you can't just select certain folders in there, it is all or nothing. You can delete certain photos off the Picture Keeper but I'm not sure if you can continue uploading photos and skip over other ones you don't want. It was harder to control in that aspect.

Overall though, I think this is a really cool and awesome device. It is smaller and easier to travel with than those portable hard drives. I also like that it is just for photos, too. It has a one year warranty which is great and a wristlet band so you don't lose it anywhere. Now, if they create a Music Keeper, too, that'd be equally awesome, too.

Buy It! Head on over to Picture Keeper's website and get one for yourself!

Win It! ONE winner will receive a PK4, too!
