Canyon Bakehouse Review and Giveaway!

School's back in session guys, can you believe it? Things can get pretty busy but hopefully you make sure to eat right especially with breakfast time before school and snack time after. If not, Canyon Bakehouse has you covered!

I received the following items:
7-Grain Bread
Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Mountain White Bread
Cranberry Canyon Crunch Muffins

All of these are so, so delicious. I have to say I dug into one of the muffins almost immediately after receiving the package. They are a unique blend of berries, seeds, and grains. There are even pumpkin seeds in them! So delicious. But like all muffins be careful because they do contain 380 calories per muffin.

The breads were very delicious, too. Cinnamon raisin is my favorite just because one slice is still the perfect on the go snack but you can also toast it, add some apple butter, and it's the bomb.

I'm more of a 7-grain kind of bread girl over white for sandwiches, so I made this hummus, pepper, and spinach sandwich for lunch and it was mmm-mmm good. It's loaded with healthy grains and has a touch of sweetness. The mountain white is great, too. It's really soft and great for classic sandwiches like PB & J.

Canyon Bakehouse created some awesome breakfast ideas for the family on the go, here's some ideas incorporating these delicious baked goods:

  • Cinnamon Raisin Bread with almond butter or peanut butter.  Canyon’s Tip: choose all-natural nut butters to avoid harmful trans fats.
  • Mountain White - make a cheese and avocado sandwich.  Canyon’s Tip: Avocados are a great source of healthy fat for energy and keeps the belly full.
  • 7-Grain toast with a slice of turkey. Canyon’s Tip: lunch foods (ie: turkey) make great breakfast foods since they’re low sugar and full of protein.
  • Cranberry Canyon Crunch Muffin with a hard-boiled egg.  Canyon’s Tip: hard-boil a bunch of eggs on Sunday for quicker prep each morning.
Another big bonus with these is that they're all gluten-free. The ingredients are also pretty easy to read and each slice of bread and muffin is pretty nutritious and loaded with some protein and giber.

Overall, I really loved these baked goods, they're so delicious. Gluten-free items can be tricky too because some just don't taste right, this bread and these muffins have the same consistency like regular old bread and muffins and taste great, too. So even if you're not a gluten-free person I would definitely recommend trying them out anyway!

Buy It! Head on over to Canyon's website to see where they sell them bar you!
