Holiday Gift Guide: Villa Cappelli Review!

With the holidays just around the corner that doesn't just mean gifts but food, too. That's where Villa Cappelli comes in. Villa Cappelli is a great company that has a variety of antipasti, olive oils, and more. Whether you want some for yourself or to give as a lovely gift basket for the holidays they have you covered.

I received:
- Spaghettata
- Spicy Italian Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
- Italian Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Spaghettata is really cool, basically you can create the best pasta in 10 minutes just by adding 1 tablespoon of Spaghettata in a 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil to your pasta. It's made of simple ingredients: garlic, crushed red pepper, parsley, and salt but makes the pasta taste outstanding. Also, super easy option for people like me that are too lazy to make a sauce and/or forget to buy sauce but have tons of pasta.

Where do I get the olive oil from? That's where the Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes in. You know it's legit by the papyrus covering it. Fun fact, I got really excited because I thought it was a bottle of Chianti but alas, just oil. Still cool though! And very useful. Unlike with many "extra virgin olive oils" you find in the states, you can be sure Villa Cappelli is 100% extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed and unfiltered with nothing but freshly crushed olives as an ingredient. It went great with my salads (I'm a classic vinegar and oil dressing girl) and with the Spaghettata.

My two favorites though were the spreads. The Spicy Italian and regular Sun-Dried Tomato Spread.

You can use it on bread, bread sticks, crackers, maybe add some water to liquify it and make it a sauce. Boom, deliciousness! I actually was a big fan of the spicy one because it had a little kick to it. Both contained tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, vinegar, mint, and salt but the spicy one also had paprika and chili pepper. That's all the ingredients contained, no artificial flavors or gross bonuses, just pure, basic, deliciousness.

I loved these items just because they're made with ingredients I know, love, and can pronounce but they're still SO GOOD. They have a variety of other great items, too, like conserves (plum conserve, yum!), pasta, and ready made gift baskets. Definitely check them out! You won't be disappointed.

Buy It! Head on over to Villa Cappelli's website and browse their great selection, you won't be disappointed!
