Going to Miami!

Hey guys, just giving you a little update that I'll be gone for a week, I'm going to visit my friend in Miami! I'll probably update tomorrow and maybe in the downtime if we have any. Hey everyone! I just want to apologize for the lack for reviews and giveaways this week. I'm actually visiting home for the holidays and have been quite busy reuniting with family and friends, because that's what the holidays are about right? I'm back!

Hey guys! Sorry for nearly three week vacation from reviews and giveaways but I actually did go on vacation. I went to Spain and a short 2 day adventure in Portugal and wasn't near a computer much, or when I was it was just to quickly check my email. Vacations are always jam-packed for me, not as vacation-like as they should probably be, hahaha. I definitely recommend going to Spain though, seriously probably one of the best two weeks of my life. But I'm back now and expect a load more reviews and giveaways coming up! Including some tonight!

Going on Vacation!

Hey guys, just letting you my blog is officially ONE year old! I posted my first post around February 17th, 2010 and posted my first review the 26th. I can't believe how fast time flies! What do you want to see?

Hey guys, so I just want to hear from you guys. I've had this blog almost a year (in like two weeks!) and I want to know what you guys think. Is there anything I can improve upon? Something I should change or do differently? Do you like my reviews? Also, what products or anything in particular that you want to see? Also if you have any questions or comments, just let me know. Award Season!

Hey guys, just wanted to make a little off-topic blog post, mainly because I'm pretty excited about a little something coming up called the Oscars, haha. I'm a huge fan of the Awards Season and I'm pumped for the Golden Globes this weekend. How about you guys? Any favorites? It looks like a good season this year, typically for Oscar-nominated movies a lot of them are snoozes and kind of boring, this year so far all of the movies I've seen are pretty interesting and great acting. Well aside from the Comedies nominated, definitely not my favorites. Here's my picks for the Golden Globes in the movies area:

Best Picture - The Social Network
Best Actor - Colin Firth, The King's Speech
Best Actress - Natalie Portman, Black Swan
Best Supporting Actor - Christian Bale, The Fighter (Though I loved Geoffrey Rush in The King's Speech...I just loved/love Christian Bale more)
But, Best Supporting Actress has all great contenders, except for the girl from Animal Kingdom, I've never seen/heard of her or the movie. I'd be happy with any of the other 4 winning though.
Best Actress in a Comedy - I reaallllyyyy want Emma Stone, I know she won't take it though, unfortunately.

But that's all I'm saying because they're the most important to me. How about you guys? Who do you want to win?

Oh and for the TV part I love the comedies I really want either any Glee or 30 Rock to win. :)

West Philadelphia born and raised...

Hey guys, just letting you know I'm going to Philly for the weekend so I might not post til Sunday...but I think the bus has wifi so it is likely that I'll post a new review tomorrow! :) Also, if anyone lives in Philly or knows about it...what should I see there? We're going to the Haunted Penetentiary but yeah that's all that's planned so far. Help! Haha.

Vacay

Hey guys, just letting you know tomorrow I'm going down to Florida for a week, I'm bringing my computer so I'm going to try and do some reviews and giveaways while I'm there but let's be honest, it might night happen, haha. I'm sorry, I know I've been lacking lately but I just graduated and now I'm going on vacation after that I'll be pretty much free to do as many reviews and giveaways as ever. For not having any Mother's Day giveaways. I had it all planned out okay! Except...I thought Mother's Day was the second weekend of May. And thus, could not get any companies in time. :( I'm sorry for hyping you up for nothing. But don't worry! I will be more prepared for Father's Day!

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS!!! (SNL Rant)

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS DID ANY OF YOU WATCH SNL? Can we please talk about how EPIC it was? I think Betty White is lying about her age, there is NO WAY she's 88 1/2 and is that ALIVE to host SNL. I've been in a SNL audience and the hosts RUSH and run around to the different sets, I don't know how she did it! Plus the alumnis were fantastic I loveee how they brought back some old characters like Sally O'Malley and Whitney Houston. I just wish they had Cheri Oteri on the show. Also, last but definitely not least JAY-Z was INSANE. His medley was just incredible including "Empire State of Mind" and my fave "99 Problems" but a sort of rock-ish rendition of it. He was the PERFECT musical guest for this show. I never thought that my love of Jay-Z could get any bigger but it has, it has. I really feel like this episode was from the 90's because of all the alumnis and let's be honest Betty White and Jay-Z just don't age. I just wish that Betty and Jay-Z did a collab that would've been INSANE. Best episode of the 2000's HANDS DOWN. How is Alec Baldwin going to compete with this? Seriously.

I'm sorry I'm a crazy SNL nerd in general let alone when there's a MINDBLOWING EPISODE like this.
