Fabness Canvas Print Review!

No comments:

Hey everyone, I love decorating. Not sure if I'm that great at it, but sometimes you find great pieces for your home you just have to have. If you can't find certain photos or things you can make them! Especially thanks to Fabness. Fabness is a canvas photo printing website that let's you put your favorite pictures on canvas. I was very excited that I got a chance to do a review for them.

I received the opportunity to create a 10x15 canvas of my choosing so I did!

Last year I took this photo of the New York City skyline and I love it. Not sure if you guys know this but I live in Los Angeles but I'm from North Jersey, twenty minutes from Manhattan. New York City is my favorite city in the world and I miss it. I have a wall in my room of my "homes" a NJ picture, a London tube map (that's where I studied abroad), and now this beautiful canvas will grace their presence.

It's really easy to make a canvas on the website, you upload your own image, you can move it around and boom. Extremely user friendly and easy. The canvas also doesn't take long to come in the mail either, I think it arrived in a week or less.

Fabness doesn't just have canvases, but also some great photo blocks that you can put on your desk at work, house signs that you can put in the front of your house, and more.

The canvas also comes with a hook that's a "sawtooth hanger" that you can post into the wooden part.

Overall, I really loved how the canvas turned out. Really clear and beautiful. Just makes me miss Manhattan more. Definitely check out Fabness, it works really well and very reasonably priced. Perfect for gifts or just a gift for yourself!

Piczzle Review and Giveaway!

2 comments:

Well everyone, I'm starting my Chistmas shopping a little early, but when you see something unique that makes a perfect gift for someone you get it and save it for that person. That's what happened with Piczzle Photo Puzzles, a great photo puzzle that makes a lovely, personal gift for that special someone who just so happens to be a little difficult to get gifts for.

That person, or at least one of those people for me, is my grandpa. You can't get him something really nice because then he'll get mad at you for spending your money on it, but you also don't want to het him something like a tie either because that's too impersonal and he'll never wear it. When I saw Piczzle, I knew it'd be a cool gift to give him for Christmas.

With Piczzle, you choose one of your photos and they make it into puzzle pieces. My grandpa doesn't make puzzles too often but he does love games. I used to go to his house and play chickers with I'm all the time. So maybe it would make a nice excuse for me to go over his places again and help him build the puzzle.

I chose this photo of my mom, grandpa, and I when we went down to visit Washington DC. I really enjoy this photo because it's a great picture of us and just reminds us that we had such a great time.

Overall, I think Piczzle is a great idea and makes a wonderful gift for someone. Definitely check them out and be sure to check out Piczzle Photo Puzzles on Facebook and Piczzle Photo Puzzles on YouTube.

Win It! ONE winner will receive a small cardboard puzzle!

Pic the Gift Sandstone Coasters Review!

No comments:

I really love unique gifts especially ones that are personal and have great memories and meanings behind it. Basically any gifts that involve pictures are a complete win for me and that is why I really loved Pic the Gift. Pic the Gift is a great website that has a variety of gifts where you add pictures to them and make them even more wonderful. From cell phone cases to puzzles to even cuff bracelets they have almost anything for everyone!

I chose their Custom Sandstone Coaster Cork Back Set - Round and Includes Mahogany Holder.

I actually got this coaster set because my mom mentioned it once that it would be really nice to have picture coasters. We were at my uncle's house and he had them and she really liked them so when I saw Pic the Gift had them I hopped at the chance. I haven't given them to my mom yet, I'm still in NJ now visiting and I plan on giving it to both of my parents at a like last evening dinner where I'll pay for dinner and give them the coasters. It's also part of a super duper late birthday present I'm giving the both of them. I have a feeling though they will be pretty happy with them.

The coasters are a set of four coasters made from absorbent natural sandstone with a cork back and also comes with a beautiful mahogany coaster stand.

I was disappointed with the coloration of this photo above, I feel like it's not as bright as the photo. Maybe it was because of the stone? Not sure but the other coasters looked awesome. Plus it's not like it's ironed on it looks like the pictures won't rub off from wear that easily or at all.

Overall, I really liked these coasters aside from the color of that one certain coaster. My mom saw these plastic coasters with photos slipped inside so she is gonna be pretty pumped to see these legit solid stone coasters. They're the perfect gift even if you don't know what to give that person just go through Facebook, pick some awesome photos, and bam. You can make a great coaster set for your parents or a keepsake box for your grandma. Even a small keychain for your friend if you need one more little gift for them for their birthday or something. People love personal gifts especially ones with pictures. Definitely check out Pic the Gift you won't be disappointed!

Red Envelope Gifts Review!

No comments:

Hey everyone! My next review is for Red Envelope. Red Envelope is a great company that sells a variety of great gifts from Christmas related ones to jewelry to barware and everything in between. Stumped to find a gift for someone for the holidays? This is a great site to get inspiration! Or a just a great site for you to shop for yourself, too!

I received:
A personalized mirror compact
A T-rex planter

The mirror compact I actually personalized for my godmother, my Aunt Bernadette, for Christmas. There's always those certain people hiccups on your Christmas list you don't know what to get them and you don't want to be too impersonal and get them lotion or candles, so when I saw this I felt it was a perfect little gift for her. My mom really liked it and I know I would enjoy this, too. It's simple but still really pretty and useful. I really love the detail on it, it makes it look vintage and really lovely.

The t-rex planter I got for myself just because I love dinosaurs and I can't not get a dino planter. Tyrannosaurs Rex's are my #2 and they didn't have a stegosaurs, my #1, so I got it. We are actually slowly creating a dinosaur-themed kitchen and this is going to look lovely on our table. He's pretty big too and it has a nice cushion under his feet so he doesn't scratch any surfaces. I love it and it is so awesome.

So as you can tell by the two completely different products I received from Red Envelope they literally have something for everyone. You name it they might even have it or something similar. My one qualm is that right after I got this dino planter it went on sale so I could've gotten BOTH. Oye. Oh well. Next time.

Overall though, definitely check them out they have a great assortment of gifts and even christmas stockings!. Like I said, you can even be inspired to get a certain present for a special someone if you spot it on the site!
