Sally Hansen Total Salon Manicure Nail Polish Review!

No comments:

Hey everyone, as you know I'm a girl and like most girls I don't mind spending a night in catching up on some television shows while polishing my nails. It's the only time I can polish my nails just so I can let them dry and just not mess them up because if I'm preoccupied doing something else other than sitting quietly in my seat without my hands moving because I am invested in a movie or show I will end up hitting my fingers and just messing it all up. So I was pretty excited when Influenster sent me a few complimentary bottles of Sally Hansen's new Complete Salon Manicure line to test out.

The colors I received are:
Red My Lips
Pat on the Black
Jaded

I am pretty much in love with these colors. Okay, I lied, I'm not a huge red fan but the other two I love. The Pat on the Black is really unique because it looks dark brown/purple and not black at all. I had to try it first. Came out pretty good, a great winter shade:

I really liked the consistency of these polishes, you only need two coats, they're not thin but nice and give a great color coverage on your nails so you use less but your nails still look awesome.

This line of polishes is super special too because it is a "have it all" type of polish in that you don't need a base, coat or top coat, it has it! But it also works well as a strengthener, growth treatment, it's chip resistant, has a gel shine finish, and great color. It has a streak free application and is super fast to do. You don't have to spend time adding on a clear top and bottom coat because it's already made in the polish. Pretty awesome!

I also really liked the brush, it's a bigger, thicker, plusher brush so it makes application super easy and thus prevents the streakiness like most other polishes have.

Fun fact, in an independent study of 375 who who wore Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure and either Revlon Classic or Essie, most women chose Sally Hansen after completing their manicure. Pretty cool and I bet once you try one of these polishes you can see why they chose them. They are great.

Overall, I was very impressed with Sally Hansen Total Salon Manicure, they are awesome and look so well on your nails. I definitely want to check out more colors in the store next time I'm out. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

Beauty Stop Online Review!

No comments:

Hi everyone! My next review is for Beauty Stop Online. Beauty Stop Online has a variety of awesome beauty products from shampoo to cosmetics to nail polish. If you are a girl you will definitely love this site.

I received a selection of Essie nail polishes. I'm not sure what colors they are because it doesn't say but the box says Lapis of Luxury, that could be one color or the entire collection line. Either way, I really like these colors, it's quite a great variety but still girly and cute colors.

I wasn't a huge fan of the bright pink but the bright orange is perfect for fall and summer. The blue and purple were my favorite, as you can probably tell I tried the purple one on almost immediately. Ignore the green tinge in my hands, I actually just ran The Color Run today and it's a bit difficult getting rid of the color, especially on my hands for some reason. Anyway, the purple ids a nice pastel not too bright where it makes my pale hands look ghastly. It also will look great in the summer after tanning, pastels always pop with tans. The blue looks great too and I plan on trying it on next.

Essie always makes great quality polishes that last a while. I always try and look for a color in their polishes first before I pick another polish line just because I know they're a reliable, great brand.

Overall though I was really impressed with Beauty Stop Online, it's like an entire beauty supply store online, it's amazing and quite addictive. They also have a great bunch of items on sale and awesome deals. Just browse the website and even if you don't think you need a beauty product you will find something on here, definitely.

Born Pretty Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for Born Pretty. Born Pretty is a great store that has a variety of nail related products. Nail art, polish, and more. If you're a girl you will love this website.

I'm not a huge fan of nail accessories but I do love nail polish, so I chose something awesome. I received the coolest nail polish ever in the mail. COLOR CHANGING nail polish!

When you're finger nails are cold they're this color:

And when they're hot, they're this color:

It is pretty awesome. Last night my roommate was amazing and I kept dunking my hands in warm and cold water to switch the colors. I actually was more surprised because on the website the colors don't look much different but you can see on your fingers it changes from sky blue to a light purple. All I can describe it as is awesome.

It doesn't chip or peel easily either. For $7.11 it is totally worth it.

They also have a variety of nail stickers and accessories you can put on your nails. My nails are small because I do bite them, but if you have long nails you can totally rock them.

Definitely check out Born Pretty, they have such awesome nail items you won't be disappointed!

OPI Pink of Hearts: Pink Shatter Review!

No comments:

Hey everyone! My next review is for OPI's newest shatter, Pink of Hearts: Pink Shatter. You may remember that I have reviewed OPI in the past, it's an awesome brand, check out previous reviews here.

OPI launches the limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. The 2011 Pink of Hearts edition will follow in the footsteps of its namesake 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Nail Lacquers in raising awareness of breast cancer for the fifth year in a row, during the months of September and October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Unlike previous shade incarnations, this year’s Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer marks the debut of fan-favorite Shatter coat in OPI’s first pink shade.

I'm not a huge fan of pink so I let my roommate try the color out first, but it actually looks really pretty on. Really adds a nice twist to boring nails but still isn't super flashy. I like that's it's not a super bright pink but just enough to catch someone's eyes and notice the shatter.

Each bottle of Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts has a special pink-ribbon tag and pink cap wrap to call attention to breast cancer awareness. OPI will also be making its annual donation of $25,000 to Komen for the Cure.

It's really great that OPI endorses such an important cause, and honestly just makes me love and respect the brand even more. Definitely check out this polish, even if you're not a huge fan of pink, it's definitely worth it to purchase just to support the cause and awareness.

Buy It! The limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts will be available throughout the months of September and October 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.
