ZzzQuil Influenster Review!

Hey guys, lately because of the stresses of life I have been having a really hard time sleeping. I would have these dreams I did not want to have then wake up, fall back asleep, then wake up in another hour, it's just not fun. I have been even trying to get to bed early but still I wake up. Just hasn't been a fun few weeks guys, that's why I was very excited to try the nighttime sleep-aid ZzzQuil, thanks Influenster.

Believe it or not, I have never used a nighttime sleep aid before unless you include like sleepy time tea. I never really had issues with sleeping, thank goodness. But I  guess eventually the stress and pressure of life gets to you and messes up your sleep -- aka what happened to me. So I was very excited but also a little nervous to try this.

It is very easy, they come in liquid capsules so you don't have to drink any weird medication or anything. Just pop these two pills in right before you go to bed. They help you fall asleep in less than 20 minutes and ensure you to get a sufficient night's sleep (7-8 hours).

I tried these yesterday, put on an episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and fell asleep during it. I did have a full 7 hours of sleep too which was good and a relief because I have been needing that lately. I still have dumb dreams but what can you do about that? I guess maybe not think about stuff before bed. '

Overall though I did feel very rested and ready to take on this week. I also liked that it is non-habit forming, just take it when you need it badly but not all the time. Also it is not for any pain just for sleep. Definitely check it out you won't be disappointed.

Neutrogena Naturals #Influenster Review!

Happy Belated Earth Day! Did you know that you can waste 5 gallons of water daily just by washing your face? I received their purifying makeup remover cleansing towelettes and I love them so much.

Hey everyone! My next review is a pretty cool variety of items, thanks to Influenster. Every so often they send some great voxboxes that have a little bit of everything.

I loved the variety of this box but with the "clean" type theme going on. 

I have tried the laundry pods before and I always have liked them, especially when I'm on the go or feeling lazy. These Tide Pods are equally awesome. They have 4-in-1 technology that gives you deterrent, stain remover, brightener and 24 hour freshness in one pod. One pod is good for one load of laundry. You just toss it in with your laundry and boom.

The toothbrush and toothpaste were probably my favorite just because I am a big teeth person and needed a new toothbrush, too. The toothbrush is something I have never seen before, it has a built in whitening pen that you pop in from the bottom. The toothbrush is awesome, it's medium so it's not super soft, and works well. The whitening pen you usually click it twice and it's good for each set of teeth. I like to rub it in with my fingers too because the whitening gel doesn't stick real well to the teeth with it being rubbed in. You don't rinse it either, just leave it. I like using this before I go to bed because if I feel like it'll feel weird if I use it in the morning before I start my day.

The whitening toothpaste whitens teeth in just 3 days. It contains 2x more of the professionally recommended ingredient, hydrogen peroxide. It is great, it didn't make me teeth feel too sensitive or anything. 

The Skinfix hand repair cream goes beyond average hand creams. It helps cracked and eczema skin. It made my hands feel super smooth and great.

The Beach Blonde collection by John Frieda are also pretty excellent. They have refreshing mint and captivating coconut scents. They didn't make my hair oily or anything, instead it gave my hair a naturally nice, beachy, tousled look. They're lightweight, too, so they don't weigh your hair down. The 7 Day Volume in shower treatment is also another great hair care product. You use it on wet are in the shower, wait 3-5 minutes, then rinse and blow your hair dry. Pretty easy. I haven't seen a huge difference yet, but it's only been like day 2.

Overall, all of these products are great, I'm really happy with this box because I am so stoked to continue trying all of the new products. Definitely check them out if you get a chance! You won't be disappointed! Thanks influenster!

I felt this was a great box. I immediately opened up the Softlips Cube and used it instantly. I'm a big fan of lip balm and lip care and this was great. The round lip care products are a big thing right now and this will continue it's trend. I received it in vanilla and it felt great. It wasn't too waxy or oily on your lips, it just felt great. It's a 5 in 1 lip care that has an advanced formula. It keeps your lips soft and hydrated. 

The next item I tried was the iced tea which tasted delicious and was very refreshing. It's made from fresh brewed tea with no preservatives. It has a great lemon flavor and is definitely the perfect drink on a hot, summer day.

The Playtex was great, too, perfect for running or hiking. I'm not going to get deep into description here, but they're very comfortable and you don't feel a thing. It actually has an odor shield that eliminates odor for the ultimate freshness. Combined with a 360 degree design for Sport Level Protection so you can go your distance with your fitness.

The First Degree burn cream I actually haven't had the chance to try out yet. It helps reduce the appearance of scars and protects against infection. It's perfect for if you burn yourself on the grill or something while having too much fun outside. 

Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Future is a serum that helps keep your flawless complexion and reduce the sign of aging. It's formula has mini beads that activate when dispensed and helps reinforce the skin's essential moisture barrier. 

The energy gummies were really great, too. They are a great tasting vitamin B-12 supplement that acts as an energy booster. They're the perfect guilt-free snack on the go and helps keep your body bikini ready.

Overall, I really enjoyed these products they're great and it's a great day to be an Influenster!

Sargento Ultra Thin Cheese Review!

I love cheese, it's pretty much one of the main reasons why I'll never become vegan. I know there's vegan cheese but nothing beats the real thing. So when I was able to review Sargento and their new ultra thin cut cheeses I jumped at the chance. Thanks to Influenster they sent me a free product coupon to try choose one myself.

I chose their Pepper Jack cheese to review and it is so, so delicious. It has the creaminess of Monterey Jack and zest of Jalapeño and Habanero peppers, sliced ultra thin to give classic sandwiches or authentic Mexican quesadillas the perfect kick. Each slice only contains 40 calories per slice.

I made an easy cheese sandwich with this cheese and it tasted so good. The peppers really gave it a super flavorful kick. I actually used three slices because they are thin and I was feeling like a fatty but usually two slices are enough. They're packed full enough full of flavor that you don't need a lot of slices. They're separated by a type of wax paper too so it is easy to peel them without accidentally tearing them or anything.

They also sent me a lunch bag which is great so when I go to work I can put my sandwich in it.

These slices are also great to put on burgers or wraps. They're great for us cheese fans that want to try to eat healthy but also can't get rid of their cheese craving. Eating healthy is all about portion control anyway. Why stop eating stuff you love? You can still enjoy it, just eat a little less of it.

Overall, I did enjoy these slices they assist with portion control and still taste amazing. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

Sally Hansen Total Salon Manicure Nail Polish Review!

Hey everyone, as you know I'm a girl and like most girls I don't mind spending a night in catching up on some television shows while polishing my nails. It's the only time I can polish my nails just so I can let them dry and just not mess them up because if I'm preoccupied doing something else other than sitting quietly in my seat without my hands moving because I am invested in a movie or show I will end up hitting my fingers and just messing it all up. So I was pretty excited when Influenster sent me a few complimentary bottles of Sally Hansen's new Complete Salon Manicure line to test out.



The colors I received are:
Red My Lips
Pat on the Black
Jaded

I am pretty much in love with these colors. Okay, I lied, I'm not a huge red fan but the other two I love. The Pat on the Black is really unique because it looks dark brown/purple and not black at all. I had to try it first. Came out pretty good, a great winter shade:



I really liked the consistency of these polishes, you only need two coats, they're not thin but nice and give a great color coverage on your nails so you use less but your nails still look awesome.

This line of polishes is super special too because it is a "have it all" type of polish in that you don't need a base, coat or top coat, it has it! But it also works well as a strengthener, growth treatment, it's chip resistant, has a gel shine finish, and great color. It has a streak free application and is super fast to do. You don't have to spend time adding on a clear top and bottom coat because it's already made in the polish. Pretty awesome!

I also really liked the brush, it's a bigger, thicker, plusher brush so it makes application super easy and thus prevents the streakiness like most other polishes have.

Fun fact, in an independent study of 375 who who wore Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure and either Revlon Classic or Essie, most women chose Sally Hansen after completing their manicure. Pretty cool and I bet once you try one of these polishes you can see why they chose them. They are great.

Overall, I was very impressed with Sally Hansen Total Salon Manicure, they are awesome and look so well on your nails. I definitely want to check out more colors in the store next time I'm out. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Scholl's Active Series Review!

I consider myself a pretty active person. I work out anywhere from three to five days a week with a variety of workouts from spin to body pump to running, I like to try almost everything. So I really like having comfortable sneakers. Usually I do have pretty comfortable sneakers, but after a few times in the wash after mud and just dirty 5k runs they start becoming less and less comfy. That's when Dr. Scholl's comes in. I was given the opportunity to review them thanks to influenster. Dr. Scholl's has an active series of replacement insoles that are perfect for your running and workout sneakers.



The box says: "During athletic activity, the foot is subject to the shock from impact of 2-3 times your body weight with every step." These replacement soles are designed for athletes. They help prevent pain especially from shin splits, runner's knee, and plantar fasciitis. It has a triple zone protection which protects the ball of the foot, arch, and heel.

I had some dirty sneakers that after washing them they were really uncomfortable to wear. They were practically new too so I didn't want to get rid of them. Instead I took the old insoles out and replaced them with these babies and WOW what a difference. I never really knew that replacing insoles make much of a difference. And they end up making a HUGE difference. Fun fact, you're supposed to replace your insoles every six months, so I'll be replacing more soles with these guys.



Overall I was insanely surprised by these guys. I had no idea that insoles are so great. I could've probably saved at least two pairs of sneakers had I known. But it's cool, I saved one pair! Definitely check out these guys, especially if you go through sneakers a lot and work out. They are awesome!

Influenster's Spring VoxBox Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for Influenster's Spring Fever VoxBox I received some awesome products to try out thanks to Influenster!

I wasn't a huge fan of the press on nails because they were hot pink and I don't really like press on nails as it is. I gave them to a friend so, honestly I am not sure how they worked but she seemed to like them. That was pretty much my least favorite product in the box.

I loved the Tasty Kake bar and actually ate it nearly right after I received the box. I didn't even take a picture of the inside of it it just looked so good that I ate it so quickly. It was soft and sweet and hit the spot. I wish it had a more marshmallowy taste though because that's what I think of when I eat s'mores.

The NYC glossy lip balm tasted really great and made my lips feel like and soft but still had a nice tint to it. It really doesn't give you much of a huge color, kind of darkens your natural lip color. But it still was really awesome, a pretty perfect lip product to use in the summer.

The OSiS Dust it is a volumnizing powder for your hair. You rub it on your hands and into your scalp and it gives it some boost. It worked pretty well and I liked how the powder disappeared so it didn't look like dandruff or anything.

Lastly the Secret deodorant was really great. I actually use this regularly and it works. It is a gel so there's no white marks. It's outlast and gives you 48 hour protection. I am a sweater and I go to the gym pretty frequently and this works super well.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the VoxBox the products were super handy and worked pretty well. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

Palmolive Soft Touch Review!

Hey everyone! My next review is for Palmolive and their new line called Soft Touch. Palmolive's Soft Touch is a great new formula of dishwashing soap that cleans dishes but isn't rough on your hands. I received this opportunity thanks to Influenster.

I really loved these products. Everyone hates doing dishes for a variety of reasons but one for me is because my hands feel so raw afterwards. Fortunately they didn't feel that way with these!

I actually kept the Vitamin E one and gave the Aloe one to my mom because her hands are really dry and basically she is the perfect candidate for Palmolive Soft Touch Aloe. She really liked it. Her hands weren't as chapped, red, and uncomfortable as they usually are after washing dishes and they smelled nice, too.

I enjoyed the Vitamin E one too because it made my hands feel soft afterwards too but also got the job done. They really cleaned the dishes, in fact, I noticed that I didn't have to use as much soap to clean dishes as I had to with my previous dishwashing soap. Just a small dab and it lathers up enough to clean so much.

The Vitamin E is made with a mild formula with a touch of Vitamin E was designed to be soft on hands while still providing powerful grease cutting action leaving your dishes sparkling clean. While the Aloe is specially formulated to be gentle on hands. With a touch of aloe, this formula is dermatologist-tested to be gentle on sensitive skin.



Overall, I was super impressed with these products, as was my mom, definitely check them out if you feel like you're stuck in a rut with your dishwashing soap or just in pain because it leaves your hands hurting, try these and you won't be disappointed!

Influenster Cosmo VoxBox Review!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know about this really cool package I received from Influenster. Influenster is a great program where you basically unlock badges and can try free products based on your influence in social media like facebook and twitter and such.

I really liked the variety of this package. From pens to razors, but they're all super useful. I really enjoyed everything in the package.

The pens were great, they sent me both black and red. They write very smoothly but then again what else can you expect from Pilot the #1 seller of gel ink pens.

The Forever Red fragrance is blend of pomegranate and red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum. It smells really great and is super refreshing smell for both going out on the town or just a day at work.

The chocolate is super delicious, but what else can you expect from Ghirardelli? The Sea Salt Escape is combined with bursts of sea salt and roasted almonds. It's pretty amazing to say the least.

The Venus is great too, the Venus Embrace provides an ultra-close shave with five blades that hug curves to get virtually every hair. The Venus and Olay features olay moisture bars that contain skin conditioners to help lock in moisture.

Overall, I really loved these products, like I said they were all so different but all super useful!
