Bombas Socks Review!

No comments:

So I am a big fan of working out, I try to go to the gym at least three days a week minimum but it's important to wear comfortable attire when working out. You don't want to wear some pants that you have to keep pulling up and thus slowing down your workout or something. One very important article of clothing though is socks. I can't tell you how many times I put on ankle socks just because I'm assuming they're gonna be fine running and they fall into my sneaker or they're too thin and make the sneakers give me blisters. Thankfully there is Bombas. Bombas socks are super comfortable and perfect for working out or just lounging.

Bombas Socks come in two styles regular length and ankle length. I chose the ankle one because I wear them more often. They're built for athletic performance and extreme leisure.

I really like that these ankle socks have a blister tab, (The blue back up top.) because like I said earlier, sometimes I would wear ankle socks running and they'd slip down and give me blisters. Even the calf socks have a stay-up technology that won't fall.

They also have a performance footbed that's not too thick or thin, just the right amount of comfort and the honeycomb support system. The honeycomb is a naturally strong structure that they have borrowed from bees. You get extra support and tightness in the arch where you need it most.

Most importantly though Bombas cares. Did you know that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at shelters? So with every pair purchased there is one paid donated. Their donation socks look and feel just like the pair of Bombas you're wearing only they have antimicrobial treatment, reinforced seams, and darker, neutral colors to prevent visible wear.

Overall, I really enjoyed my Bombas socks. I wore them to the gym today. I wasn't doing cardio so I didn't get the full affect of their stay-up technology but I believe them. They're very comfortable without being too warm or thick. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

Cappelli Straworld Pack A Hat Review!

No comments:

Summer is almost here! Well, kind of, at least in Southern California it is. Gotta protect yourself from that sun. Check out their new Pack a Hat. Pack a Hat is exactly what it sounds like it is: a hat packed into a bag so it's easy travel with.

It comes in a nice bag like this, almost like a cosmetic bag and about the size of one. Inside is a hat!

Gotta say though, the hat is a bit wrinkly from being stuck in the bag for a while. So if you're not big into fashion and more into protection than go for this. It looks a little silly on but hey, I would rather not have a burnt scalp.

The sun hat has UPF 50+ and the bag is a little wristlet so you can easily carry it around.

Fun fact even though we're at the end of April remember that May is melanoma awareness month so don't forget sun protection importance.

Each Pack A Bag is only $25 which is great for yourself or for a gift for your friends!

Overall, I think it's a great idea I just wish the hat came out less wrinkly. I'm glad it does help protect you against the sun though. Definitely check them out!

Fraas Spring-Summer Scarf Review!

No comments:

Spring is finally here so you can put away all of those big, bulky, and dark winter clothes and bust out the lights and brights! Spring can get a little cool still, too, so check out Fraas and their latest line of Spring-Summer scarves!

These scarves are called "Dottie" and I bet you can guess why. Polka dotas are always a popular pattern and these are particularly chic. I received turquoise but they also have pink, green, yellow, and purple/taupe. Each shade is bursting with a clear and flattering hue and fresh, white polka dots. The polyester drapes beautifully around your neck or can also be worn as a wrap.

I am not a huge fan of polka dots but I really do love this color and it is perfect for spring. It definitely makes an outfit pop. It is also a nice sized scarf coming in at 28 x 76 inches so you can definitely play with it and knot it up however you want. I actually cannot make any fancy scarf knots or ways to wear it, which is probably why all of my scarves are circle scarves, but hey it gives me the chance to practice!
Overall, I really liked this scarf, it goes with practically any outfit. It is great and light so it isn't too heavy for the spring/summer months but still can warm you up if you're feeling a little cool. Check out Fraas and their great scarf collection, you won't be disappointed!

Holiday Gift Guide: SIJJL Winter Hat Review and Giveaway!

8 comments:

With winter rolling in this means more hot chocolate, snow, and cozy winter hats. That's why I like SIJJL. SIJJL is a great company that has a variety of handmade wool scarves and silk scarves.

I received their black and white slouchy beanie.

Beanies are really on trend right now so I was super excited to wear this one. Plus, it keeps getting colder out and this keeps my head and ears nice and toasty! I chose the striped one because I'm a stripe kind of gal. I liked the pattern more than the solid colors, too, it kind of stands out more. It's also 100% wool but it has a fleece lining which I love. Wool is really itchy and the fleece as a little protective layer is soft and makes it really comfortable to wear.

SIJJL was founded in 2009 and their mission is to provide sustainable, fair wage employment to the people of Nepal through the production of making these hats, scarves, and additional accessories. I really admire and support that. Also, it gets pretty cold in Nepal so they know what tools and fabric to use to keep you warm and stylish.

SIJJL also have some great scarves and a wide variety of different styled hats. I remember one year my mom asked for a hat and scarf pair for Christmas and I know one of these hats would've been perfect. So if you're looking for an lovely and practical gift for someone definitely check them out! Even if you need a new hat yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Holiday Gift Guide: Fraas Scarf Review!

No comments:

Christmas shopping is already beginning, with Veteran's Day sales and Black Friday just around the corner. There are some gift stumpers - the people you aren't exactly sure what to get them - but Fraas is here to assist you. Whether you need something for your coworker, cousin, or crazy accessory-obsessed friend, Fraas makes lovely scarves that can be the perfect gifts for them!

I was sent their Metallic Zebra style scarf in black and I am obsessed with it.

I am a Jersey girl so I have a soft spot for animal prints. This is the type of animal print I love because it isn't gaudy and can go with practically any type of outfit. It comes in three colors: black, gold, and silver. I am really glad that they sent me the black, it matches all of my jackets and outfits. Plus I generally levitate to black-colored things.

Its pretty use of metallic yarns make the animal print stand out but not too flashy, so it works well with dressing up, special occasions, or just for fun. It is also 12 x 80 inches so it is great to use as a wrap or really warm and cozy scarf.

Overall, I really liked this scarf. It is great for the colder weather coming up and nice enough to wear for holiday festivities. Scarves are a great go-to gift to give people when you can't think of anything and this one is so lovely nobody will be mad that you gave them this one! Check out Fraas, you won't be disappointed!

L Duncan Apparel Handbag Review!

1 comment:
Hey everyone! my next review is for L Duncan Apparel. L Duncan Apparel is a great website that sells a variety of men and women's accessories and tops.

I received this awesome Basketweave Hobo handbag.

Their website says: "Our Basketweave Hobo is 6 handbags in one. It can be carried with the shoulder strap or the woven brass and leather handle. You can show your crafty side with the basketweave pattern, or show your uptown side with the smooth leather surface. For a third, more chic look, you can carry this bag with the top flipped over. However you wear it, you’re sure to stun onlookers."

I actually didn't receive the shoulder strap when I received the handbag, but it's cool because the bag is still really great. It is super versatile and reversible. As you can see from the two photos above it can be a large hobo bag or a smaller, almost clutch, handbag. Also, the hobo bag has two sides a simple but nice brown side (like the small handbag, that fold is one side of the hobo bag), or one with a sort of basket-stitch pattern. Really awesome and super unique.

The quality of the bag is really great. It's not shiny or gaudy with the chain. It is really classy and can be worn with anything. One little thing is that I wish the chain was removable. I preferred the larger hobo bag style just because I have a lot of junk I travel with (one is usually a book that's why) but the chain just kind of hangs there in the center and it could get tangled with your stuff. Other than that I really did love the bag, it fits everything and is my new favorite.

Definitely check out L Duncan Apparel they have a great selection you may be on there for a bit but because they have such a great, awesome selection for men and women. You definitely won't be disappointed!

Jill-E Tablet Messenger Bag Review!

No comments:

Hey everyone! My next review is for Jill-E. Jill-E is a great company that sells a variety of bags from handbags to camera bags, you name it. With a variety of styles, sizes, and shapes they have something for everyone!

I was sent the E-Go Tablet Messenger.

This bag is super cool, I have an iPad so it fits perfectly. Sometimes I bring it to work or on gigs or even traveling but it fits awkwardly in my purse so this is perfect for it. I'm not a huge fan of the plaid print, I'm more of a solid girl, but the inside is awesome.

I'm a huge compartment girl the more places to fit stuff the better and this bag has it covered! When you open the main flat there's a big pocket and then a zipper to the main area. I like that it isn't just a flat covering your tablet and such, that there's a zipper too just because I'm paranoid. Inside that zipper it has another zippered pocket, two little pockets for like your phone and ipod, and two big spaces split by a nice cushioned wall to protect you tablet. Also in the very back of the purse outside there's a little zipped pocket to put your passport or ticket if you're traveling or just easy to grab necessities. It also has a name card so you can write down all your info if it gets lost and a nice, protective cloth storage bag.

It doesn't even have to be used as a tablet bag either you can fit a compact camera body and 1-2 moderately sized lenses in it, or a small 10" laptop, or just regular purse stuff! I'm definitely going to try it out as a camera case, too!

This is a super awesome bag, the perfect size and perfect durability and protection. It's great for the tech person on the go, I love it! They're such great quality and you can tell they will last you for quite a long time. Definitely check them out if you need a new camera bag, laptop bag, or just browsing for a new bag, they have a great variety for anyone. Even guys!

Buy It! Head on over to Jill-E's website and browse their awesome collection, there's definitely something for everyone! Also all plaid e-go bags are only 20% off during the summer sale! So if you like my bag, snatch it up now before summer ends!
