Cold winters really can take a toll on your lips, what with the wind, snow, and everything in between. In order to keep your lips hydrated, check out Carmex! Carmex is my go-to brand for lip products. Carmex makes great products that soothe my lips and leave them feeling great! Carmex's new Moisture Plus collection is perfect for this.

Carmex's latest collection of Moisture Plus features designs that appeal to all of the diverse Carmex users and potential Carmex users. They've included:



Chic - A black and white houndstooth pattern that's for the modern girl with a classic taste.
Fab - A purple circle pattern that's for the girl who embodies the 1960's and Edie Sedgewick.
Adventurous - A leopard print that's for the girl that's up for everything and all for living on the edge.
Whimsical - A multi-colored wave print for the girl that is the free-spirited, nature lover.

Can you guess which one I gravitated toward first? The adventurous leopard print. I told you guys, I'm a Jersey girl, so I was born with a soft spot for animal prints. I actually read the little cards that explained each pattern after picking out the one I liked and I feel like this one definitely fits my personality, too. I'm always the friend that's up for an adventure and I am a firm believer of YOLO. (Haha, seriously though.) Though just to make sure and confirm I am as adventurous as I think I am, I took Carmex's Uniquely You Personality Quiz. This quiz helps assist you in picking the one that fits your personality best. I actually did end up getting Adventurous, too. I guess my affinity for leather and rocker-type clothing also assisted in that decision-making process.

Not only are the sticks really unique and awesome but Moisture Plus by Carmex is really great on your lips, too. It's formulated with Vitamin E and SPF 15. It contains shea butter and aloe for a healing benefit. It also gives you a nice glossy shine without being sticky like a gloss, it's like a really smooth and shiny balm. It also doesn't test products on animals which is a great added bonus.

Overall, I really did enjoy the new look for the Moisture Plus and how they tired to create different, cool patterns to fit any woman's personality. I think they could make great little stocking stuffers for people that love lip balms and lip glosses aka people like me. I love little cool but practical stocking stuffers like this because you can actually use them and they're still really cute. Definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed!

This time Carmex sent me their Healing Cream, Healing Lotion, and this pretty awesome Carmex hoodie! Sorry I'm not showing my face but I just got out of the shower and was makeup-less, and feeling not too pretty, haha.

Even though I live in Southern California where it is basically spring now, I am going back home to New Jersey for a week and winter is still roaring away. With the winter wind your skin can get really, really dried out. Luckily there's Carmex!

With increased levels of lanolin, their Healing Cream mimics your skin's natural lipid layer to maximize healing, while petrolatum and allantoin soften rough skin and aid in moisturization. Perfect for everyday use, Carmex Healing Cream helps protect skin and keep dryness away. It has rich healing ingredients, including aloe and Vitamin E.

I really love Carmex because their lotions work. They really moisturize your skin and don't leave that greasy feeling. I also like that they don't really have scents to them just because sometimes you just want to feel moisturized and don't want to smell like flowers or whatever. You just want to feel moisturized and clean and that's what Carmex does.

Also the hoodie is pretty awesome. It is super warm and comfy. I love the yellow because Spring and Summer will be hear before you know it and it's perfect to put on when the sun goes down and it gets a little cool out. I also like that the logo isn't ginourmous so I can literally wear this with almost anything. And I'm a total hoodie girl.

Once again Carmex does not disappoint. They are a great company that have been around forever and once you try their products you realize why. The quality and the way the lotions and creams work to hydrate your skin is awesome! Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed!

I received the Everyday Lip Conditioner in Orange.

We all know and love Carmex, they're great and make your lips feel amazing. I was a little curious trying out this lip conditioner because it was orange flavor but it is really awesome. I never had orange flavor and it smelled and felt awesome.

The lip conditioner is neither a balm or a lotion, but it is almost like a lotion for your lips. It will leave your lips so smooth and kissable and not sticky. Also because it has a matte finish, lip conditioner is a great base for lipstick or gloss.

It made your lips feel super tingly which I liked because it is almost like you can feel like it is actually conditioning it right now. I also loved that they are not greasy or sticky at all and just leaves you with a nice smooth pair of lips. The lip conditioner is great because in the winter my lips get super chapped and dry and this will help me keep them healthy.

Overall, I loved this lip conditioner, they are perfect for the winter. They are also great little stocking stuffers for the holidays!

Carmex Summer Lip Balm Review and Giveaway! -- CLOSED

Hey everyone! My next review is for Carmex. You may remember me reviewing them in the past and you can check that out here. Carmex is everyone's go to lip balm, they're the best and I was super excited to review for them again!



Carmex sent me the perfect summer package! A beach bag with a little pouch connected to it filled with amazing lip balm!

The flavors I received are:
Everyday Ultra Smooth Pomegranate Lip Balm
Vanilla Moisturizing Lip Balm
Cherry Moisturizing Lip Balm
Strawberry Moisturizing Lip Balm
Lime Twist Moisturizing Lip Balm
Original Moisturizing Lip Balm
Last time I had the chance to review their vanilla and lime twist flavors so you can check that out here if you are interested in those awesome flavors.

First off, I was so surprised and happy to receive such an amazing beach bag! I don't have one and this one is fantastic and super huge! It can fit my towel and everything! I love the pouch too filled with lip balm!

People easily forget that going to the beach you need to protect your entire body from the sun and that includes your lips. That's what it is awesome that these lip balms are SPF 15 AND water resistant. They're perfect for beach days or just any day!

Their newest flavor is pomegranate and it is amazing. I am a sucker for fruity flavors which is another reason why I was super stoked to receive all these flavors. I had never tried the strawberry and cherry ones and they are fantastic too. Fruity flavors definitely put me in the summer mood. Although it was a difficult decision, I think my favorite is the pomegranate. There aren't many lip balms that are flavored that yet. Plus it smells soooo good. The rest smell amazing too. If you are a cherry person you will love cherry, if you're strawberry you will love strawberry. They're all pretty amazing though and feel so good on your lips. I feel them tingle and soothe my (pretty dry) lips, it just feels so great.

Lip balms are great too just because you can put them anywhere. I am an addict. I have one by my bed right before I go to sleep I apply. I have one in my car, one in my purse, now one in my beach bag, and one right by my desk. I think I'm fully prepared.

Overall, these lip balms definitely don't disappoint. They don't leave your lips feeling greasy or gross, they smell amazing and feel equally amazing on. Plus they're SPF 15 which is incredibly important for this beach weather. Definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Carmex Celebrates 75 Years!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd share with you a really fun and awesome announcement, Carmex, everyone's favorite lip brand, is celebrating 75 years! How awesome is that!? And they are really celebrating!



As a way to thank their customers and fans for supporting them through nearly a century, they are hosting a promotion on Facebook: 75 years with 750,000 Carmex Fans. Sounds insanely awesome to me!

Hey everyone! So my next review and giveaway is for Carmex. Carmex is a great lip and skin care company, they're known for having such high quality products that work. I was super excited to get a chance to review them again!

Carmex Healing Lotion
Carmex Healing Cream
Both in large and miniature travel sizes.

The Healing Lotion is a great lotion that is to be used daily to soothe and protect dry skin. It's made with aloe and vitamin E. The healing cream is to be used to help repair your driest and roughest skin like your elbows and feet. Both of them have a nongreasy feel to them which I love. I also love the scent of it, it's not flowery or perfumey or gross lotiony, it just smells really clean and nice.

I also loved that they gave me two sizes because I have a difficult time traveling with lotion. Usually they're too big for carry ons but these two are perfect. You can also keep them in your purse for emergencies.

I've been using them both the paste few days, the lotion for all over and the cream on my feet, hands, and elbows. They use quality ingredients and it just feels great. Definitely my new favorite lotions right now. They also make great stocking stuffers because who doesn't need lotion, right?

Hey everyone! So my next review and giveaway is for Carmex!. Carmex is a great company that has an awesome assortment of lip products that help elminate cold sores and soothe dry or chapped lips. They sent me an awesome little package in the mail.

Let me start off with by saying that Carmex is so awesome, you expect great quality from their own products yes, but the blanket is AWESOME. The blanket has this under coat that should be a necessity on all picnic blankets. Why? Because if it rained a day before or something you won't get wet. It's like a protective coat, perfect for drive-in movie theatres or actual picnics. Also it comes with a little pocket which makes it even more perfect for the beach, because let's be honest all you need is your money, a cellphone, some sunscreen, and a blanket for the beach. Wonderful. I love this blanket.

But let's talk about Carmex, the lime twist and vanilla are their newest flavors. They're both SPF 15, they also have additional moisturizer ingredients not found in Carmex's original line. They both feel very tingly and wonderful on, I really like when your lips feel tingly because it feels like it's working, it's a nice tingly too not scary like some lip plumpers are. They're not caked on either or too sticky. I personally like the vanilla one the most because it smells so so good, but the lime one is really cool too.

I was super excited to receive the Moisture Plus stick too because I use this product a lot, my mom does too actually, so it's nice to have a spare. The moisture plus is ultra hydrating lip balm with vitamin e and aloe moisturizing protection, has spf 15, and a fancy slant tip. I like this and use it a lot just because I am obsessed with keeping my lips not dry and chapped and it works and makes my lips feel nice and smooth. My mom uses this a lot because she gets cold sores sometimes when she goes to the beach or gets her tan on so this prevents the cold sores from happening. You can also use it over or under lipstick and it doesn't mess up or lips, one can argue it makes them nicer and shinier if you apply over and smoother and slickier if you apply under.

Carmex has been around for a while guys and it's because their products are legit. They make your lips healthier and prevent cold sores and all that nasty stuff. It makes them feel good too. Definitely check them out if you haven't already because you won't be disappointed!
